While I have always wanted to be an engineer, team 537 has given me the experience, tools, and resources to get me on my feet. I have a great advantage over other students at my school due to the fact that most of the things that they\'re teaching us to do as engineers in the field, I have already done having been part of Charger Robotics. 537 has also allowed me to grow as a person, allowing me to be more outgoing, establish more self confidence, and speak in front of a group of people with confidence and clarity.

Tony Michalski (2003)Years with team: 2001 - 2003 Positions Held: Team captain (2003), others Biography: I am currently attending Michigan Tech University in the UP. At Tech, I am studying Chemical Engineering and scheduled to graduate in May 2008. I did recieve a scholarship to attend Tech through team 537 and recommend all juniors and seniors to apply for any of those offered. (Who doesn't like FREE money?) I have worked at Kimberly-Clark on paper towels and feminine hygiene products while attending school. If you have any questions about Tech or my experiences please feel free to contact me. Where am I now?: Michigan Tech University and Chemical Engineering co-op at Kimberly-Clark How FIRST changed my life: It has provided me with opportunities and friends that I will be grateful I had. Without these opportunities, I would not have recieved a co-op experience with Kimberly-Clark or any other employer. Also, because of Team 537, I have continued to help out with FIRST as I feel I can give back to the program whether that is FLL or FRC.
